Aura, een meisje dat lijdt aan anorexia, komt terug bij haar ouders na uit een kliniek te zijn ontsnapt. Op de avond van haar terugkeer houdt haar moeder een seance in aanwezigheid van een aantal kennissen. Met een demonische stem vertelt de moeder dat zich onder hun een moordenaar bevindt, waarop ze in paniek naar buiten rent alwaar zij en Aura's vader vermoord worden. Aura ziet de moordenaar nog net weglopen met de hoofden van haar vader en moeder. Samen met David, een jongen waarmee ze bevriend is geraakt, probeert ze de moordenaar te vinden en komt achter een gruwelijk geheim.
